1. Your family: I’ve been married to my husband, Jeff, for almost 37 years. We have three grown children: Evan, Abigail and Joseph.
2. Hometown & Education: I was raised in Scottsbluff, Nebraska…Go Big RED! I graduated from the University of Wyoming…Go WYO! I got to Colorado as soon as I could!
3. Favorite part of your job: When the assembly knows a hymn very well, their combined “voice” will grow to the point that I can no longer hear the choir…there is no more beautiful sound than a 300+ member choir, singing from the heart!
4. Favorite part of being Catholic: Our faith is so very rich that we learn something new about it almost every day. I love how our faith is so intertwined with our daily lives.
5. Hobbies: Jeff and I ride a red tandem bicycle. He is the captain, and I’m the stoker (yes, I am pedaling back there). Watch for us around Colorado Springs! I also love needlework and playing classical music.
6. Favorite Food / Favorite Song: This is easy: Chipotle, every Sunday evening! My favorite song is the second movement of Sonata for the Piano, by Edvard Grieg, Opus 7. Here’s a link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iWQUeipn-N0&t=271s
7. Fun Fact: Jeff and I met marching in the Casper Troopers Drum and Bugle Corps, in 1982. Two of our children later marched with the same drum corps, a very proud parenting experience!
8. Dream for St. Gabriel the Archangel Parish: My hope is that every person that enters our doors finds a home here, and that we reach out to our neighbors to show them Christ.
