Magnificat Moms strives to foster a community of faith, friendship, and support in our vocation as mothers in imitation of our Blessed Mother.
Key Information:
We meet twice a month.
Typically we have a breakfast potluck from 9:30-9:50 am followed by a lesson or discussion till 11 am.
We meet at the "Four/plex" - which are rooms to the south side of the building.
This year we plan on having a discussion/fellowship meeting once a month and a study once a month.
We'll be going over ways to celebrate Liturgical events (such as Advent, All Souls day, etc.) by using The Catholic All Year Compendium: Liturgical Living for Real Life by Kendra Tierney.
The second thing we will be covering once a month is "Mary: A Biblical Walk with the Blessed Mother" By Edward Sri. In this study, we will be using our Bibles to go over events in Mary's life (such as the nativity, assumption, etc). We will be focusing on scripture and discussion questions that will be provided. Following the discussion, we'll have a short 30min video as a recap. The purpose of this is to dive into Mary's life and for reflection on how we can relate to her.
