Knights Membership Drive Saint Gabriel and John Vanney Knights of Columbus Council 12335 will be holding a membership drive, next weekend, August 10th and 11th after each Mass. All are invited to stop by and ask questions about becoming a Knight. Becoming a Knight benefits the church, the community, and yourself. The time commitment is regulated by each member and there is no specific requirement. Stop by after Mass and let’s talk about you becoming a Knight.

What it means to be a Knight
We are Catholic men who lead, serve, protect and defend. We share a desire to be better husbands, fathers, sons, neighbors, and role models and to put charity and community first.
History
Founded on the principles of charity, unity and fraternity, the Knights of Columbus was established in 1882 by Father Michael J. McGivney, assistant pastor of St. Mary's Church in New Haven, Conn., and a group of parishioners. Their intent? To bring financial aid and assistance to the sick, disabled, and needy members and their families.
Today, Blessed Father McGivney is being considered for sainthood.Our Council 12335
Council 12335, Sts. Gabriel and John Vianney, serves St. Gabriel Catholic Church and the Briargate community. The Knights meet at St. Gabriel's on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month.
