Our MissionThe purpose of the Altar Linen Ministry is to serve the St. Gabriel the Archangel community by collecting, washing, ironing, and returning the linens used during Mass. The linens are laundered in a manner respectful of the body and blood of Christ that lingers upon these linens.

Altar Linen Ministry
Altar linen volunteers wash and iron the linens to ensure all Masses each week have the proper
linens needed. We schedule in 3-month increments, and the number of times each person has to
wash and iron the linens depends on the number of volunteers. Currently, volunteers either
wash/iron the lines once or twice during each 3-month time period. Training and written
instructions are provided.
